Stainless Steel Flanges

Stainless steel flanges serve as robust connectors that allow for easy disassembly and inspection of piping systems. Unlike fittings, flanges are typically bolted together with gaskets in between, ensuring a tight seal even under high-pressure conditions. They are especially useful in applications where frequent maintenance or access is needed, such as chemical plants and refineries. Each flange type serves a specific purpose—blind flanges seal pipe ends, slip-on flanges are easy to install and align, while weld neck flanges provide high strength under stress. Flanges are standardized by pressure class ratings (such as ANSI Class 150, 300, etc.), making them suitable for systems with varying pressure and temperature ranges.
